A land and building surveying degree from Westwood’s College Industrial Services helps students in the Surveying program learn the skills necessary to get an entry-level surveying career. Students spend much of their time outside doing field projects, collecting data and using industry-standard equipment.
Students learn the basic math and plane trigonometry needed for a surveying profession. They learn about drafting, CAD programs, land surveying and many other skills used by surveying professionals. Learning surveying in the classroom is just the beginning of a Westwood College student’s curriculum. Fieldwork rounds-out the education to help prepare students for challenges they may face in future careers
