The combination of business and Westwood’s College Health Care courses, plus courses that enforce skills in critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving, help students become well-prepared for contemporary healthcare workplace challenges. This degree is designed to prepare students to enter careers in a variety of healthcare organizations such as hospitals, public health agencies, long-term care facilities, physician group practices, and managed care organizations. Examples of positions graduates will be able to qualify for include clinic or hospital office manager, claims supervisor, and long-term care facility administrator/assistant.
