International Academy of Design and Technology in Seattle (IADT Seattle), were inspired by their students’ dedication to achieving their goals, so they continue to review and develop their curricula in order to provide quality academic programs that can help students grow and gain the tools they need to get their college degree.
At the International Academy of Design & Technology - Tampa, students have the advantage of learning in a smaller, hands-on environment by taking career-specific classes from industry professionals. Academy students can earn a bachelor’s degree in as little time as three years and an associate’s degree in as few as eighteen months.
At the International Academy of Design & Technology - Tampa, both the curriculum and equipment used is industry driven with cross-platform training on PC, Macintosh and Silicon Graphics Imaging Stations. The Academy offers a full-service video editing and compositing suite, and an audio recording, mastering, and 5.1 encoding suite.
The International Academy of Design & Technology Tampa is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools top award associate and bachelor’s degrees. The International Academy’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design program is accredited by the Foundation for Interior Design Education and Research (FIDER).
For Admissions: All applicants are required to complete a personal interview with an admissions advisor, either in person or by telephone, depending upon the distance from the International Academy of Design & Technology - Tampa’s facilities. Students who have experience and/or expertise in appropriate fields may seek an evaluation of life experience for credit by scheduling an appointment with the appropriate Department Chairperson or advisor. Students must apply for test out consideration during the first two quarters of enrollment.
