Central Pennsylvania College, accredited by the Middle States Commissions on Higher Education, emerged from a business school, earning its new status and name in April 1999 after the Pennsylvania Department of Education authorized the Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science Degrees.
Central Penn is Pennsylvania’s preeminent career-oriented, baccalaureate residential college. Central Pennsylvania College suburban Harrisburg campus is located just inside the Capital Beltway at Exit 65 on I-81 in the village of Summerdale.
