  1. L’École Culinaire

At L’Ecole Culinaire, you will receive career-based culinary competencies delivered by professional instructors from the St. Louis culinary industry. The campus consists of classrooms and culinary and baking kitchen labs, and a demonstration kitchen.

L’Ecole Culinaire offers a unique program structure different from most other traditional institutions; you study in 10-week phases rather than traditional semesters. You take only one major course per phase, allowing you to concentrate your efforts and get the most from the material presented.

L’École Culinaire prepares students for a career in the culinary industry by offering a Diploma in Culinary Essentials and Associate degrees in Occupational Sciences in Culinary Arts.

Students who complete the program at L’École Culinaire will have the diverse knowledge and abilities necessary to be successful in their chosen careers. A successful culinary arts student graduating from this program will have a strong background in baking and pastry, and will develop a thorough knowledge and honed skills in all other aspects of the hospitality industry, food and beverage management.

The L’École Culinaire features small class sizes, and a high instructor to student ratio. Approximately 70% of the student’s time is spent in the lab or in the kitchen, whether in one of the school’s learning kitchens, or during an externship in an area restaurant or other food service facility.

L’École Culinaire is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT), which is listed by the U.S. Office of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency under the provision of Chapter 33, Title 38, U.S. Code and subsequent legislation.
